This policy explains what information DJ Davin Titus (“I”, “me”) collects through davintitus.com, how it’s used, and the choices you have. If you have any questions, email me at hello@davintitus.com.
What I collect
Information you send me. When you check a date and send an inquiry, I collect what you enter: your name, email, phone number, event type, event date, venue, how you heard about me, and your message.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, this site and the services it uses may record basic technical information such as your browser type, device, pages visited, and the website or ad that brought you here. This is collected through cookies and similar technologies (see “Advertising and analytics” below).
How I use it
- To reply to your inquiry, check availability, and send you information about my services.
- To plan and perform your event if you book with me.
- If your date is already booked and you ask, to refer you to other DJs I trust.
- To understand how people find my website and to measure and improve my advertising.
I don’t sell your personal information, and I don’t share it with anyone for their own marketing.
Services I use
I rely on a few trusted service providers to run this website and my business. They handle information on my behalf:
- Cloudflare hosts this website.
- Google (Google Workspace and Google Sheets) receives and stores inquiries and delivers my email.
- Google Ads and similar advertising platforms help me reach couples and measure which ads lead to inquiries.
- Calendly may be used to schedule a call with me.
Advertising and analytics
I advertise online, including through Google Ads. These platforms may use cookies and similar technologies to show my ads to people who might be interested and to tell me when an ad leads to an inquiry. To measure this, contact details from an inquiry (such as your email or phone number) may be shared with the ad platform in a protected, hashed form so it can be matched to an ad click. The platforms don’t use this to identify you to me.
You can control ad personalization through Google’s Ad Settings, opt out of interest-based ads from many companies at optout.aboutads.info, and block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
How long I keep it
I keep inquiry and client information for as long as I need it to respond, to provide my services, and to keep normal business records. You can ask me to delete your information at any time.
Your choices
You can ask me what information I have about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it by emailing hello@davintitus.com. If you don’t want to hear from me anymore, just reply to any email and tell me.
Security
I take reasonable steps to protect your information, but no website or online service can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Children
This website isn’t directed to children under 13, and I don’t knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
If I update this policy, I’ll post the new version on this page with a new effective date.
